Tone Is In Your Fingers
When I started my journey as an entrepreneur, I always wondered If I could have that latest MacBook Pro, then I would have been on another level. But with time and this book, I understood the meaning of the famous guitarist saying, "Tone is in your fingers."
Tone
You can buy the same guitar, pick, and amplifier that Jimi Hendrix uses, but as you'll be hitting up that string, you'll sound like YOU. Likewise, Jimi Hendrix could pick up any random cheap guitar, & still, it will be easy to recognize that it's Jimi playing.
Is In
It's easy to get lured by advanced tools instead of what really matters. Progressing gears indeed help, but our tone comes from us.
When I started Hireaven, I was dwelling on things like social accounts, getting analytical tools, and designing stuff. But later on, I realized that what matters is my work. The way I reach out to clients and present my services. The moment I started working on that, my productivity enhanced.
Your
We all think of these fancy gears as shortcuts to the top. But what takes us up there is what we do. You don't need those fancy gears, at least not when you're starting.
Fingers
Get started. Work on what you've always wanted to. Use the things you already have or buy the cheap version because what really matters is what you actually do. Your tone is in your fingers.
